Can I drive my kid home after a swim meet?

The above form is good for the entire 2022 Swim Season. Fill it out once, and a Parent can show it to the coach that took the bus. (Start with one of the coaches. If it isn't them, they will tell you which coach it is.)

As per the Assistant Principal of Activities:

• Must be the parent. Older siblings, aunts/uncles, cousins, compadres, or neighbors DO NOT QUALIFY. They can pick up the athlete from campus.

• Parents can not give a ride to another athlete from the swim meet, but you can pick them up from campus.

I understand these rules can sound contradictory.... its ok to pick them up from ERHS but not from another school or to and from practice... but we all know how litigious our society is and insurance companies have very specific wording for insuring student safety, and where liability starts and ends. So as much as something passes the common sense rule, we need to abide by the Private Transportation Permission Form (link).
