Spooky Spirit Day!

EGMS students, faculty, and staff had a lot of fun dressing up on October 31!

EGYS - Dog Therapy

With a heartfelt thank you, we are excited to see East Granby Youth Services bring back the therapy dogs to EGMS! They joined us on Spooky Spirit Day (October 31), so you'll also see some great costume pictures. Please check them out below!

EGMS Student at the Hartford Stage!

Emma Gerken, grade 7, has joined the cast of "A Christmas Carol" at the Hartford Stage for this coming holiday season! You may find her on the cast list HERE, and below are the dates that she'll be performing if you'd like to see one of our students perform!

Grade 6 General Music

Teacher Recognition - Dr. Sarah Faulkner

Congratulations are in order to Dr. Faulkner, our Grade 8 science teacher, who was chosen as the 2023 Outstanding Earth Science Teacher for New England by the National Association of Geoscience Teachers. Check out this LINK for more details about this great honor!

Grade 7 Cell Project

Mr. Hurlburt's science class made a whole variety of projects about cells! Some were digital, some were Three-Dimensional, and some were edible! All of them were creative... and a few were delicious!

Soccer Under the Lights - EGMS Students

To show some school spirit in preparation of EGHS' Soccer Under the Lights, some of our students from the travel teams in town decided to wear jerseys to school! We had some great school sprit in support of our EGHS teams that day.

Making Donuts!

Ms. Semyanko and some of her students were working on making different donuts to start the day! Mr. Phelan had a hard time saying no to what they were making.

EGMS Gaming Club

In Mr. Berardy's Gaming Club, students had an opportunity to play on a wide spectrum of gaming systems from different eras!

EGMS PTO Lunch!

The hot lunch program started on October 2nd with great reviews! If you'd like to order hot lunch, please order it by 9AM of the Friday before the week you would like the lunch to be available. You may order lunch by clicking HERE and then using MS as the school code when prompted.
