EGMS kicked off our annual food drive with a ton of fun! Check out these costumes below! We have even had some 'visitors' that were 'summoned' here by the East Granby Public Library!
Some of our 8th grade female students had a wonderful opportunity to attend an engineering conference at UConn Storrs branch in the last week of October!
Ms. Ash's class brought in traditional foods from a variety of Spanish speaking countries.
Mr. Dorr's students had a lesson in scientific inquiry, demonstrations, and hypotheses using a brave volunteer's five dollar bill, isopropyl alcohol, fire, and a volunteer from the audience. The students (and administration) had some fun with this one!
Mr. Simeone's 6th graders were having fun with surface area as students design their own tents out of polydron construction shapes!
On Monday, October 17th, EGMS students took over the fan section to support our EGHS Volleyball team in action against Portland HS. The EGHS Girls' Team came from behind to take the victory after being down 0-2! As reported by Mr. Ziff, not one slice of pizza was left in sight.
Mrs. Munsell's sixth graders during lab class finished this puzzle in EGMS Maker's Space in the school library. They'd been working on it for a few weeks and took great pride in their work!
