“Each one of us matters, has a role to play, and makes a difference. Each one of us must take responsibility for our own lives, and above all, show respect and love for living things around us, especially each other.”

Jane Goodall

After meeting the most horrible fictional English woman ever Mrs. Twit, we learned about an amazing real woman that became an inspiration to all of us.

The greatest part of this journey was that Jane started her adventure so many years ago and is still working today at the age of 86, to promote love and respect for living beings. It is incredible how many children have been inspired by one little girl who started dreaming reading on the branches of her tree in England and ended up living her dreams in Africa with her beloved apes.

Among our Second Graders we have many students who love animals and have worked very passionately to help Polki Squad continue helping more animals. To dream big and work toward your dreams is something Jane has taught all of us and we will never forget.
