The theme of Toys acted as a connecting thread for children and adults, becoming a very versatile instrument for acquiring a second language. One activity that children really enjoy was the Mistery Box Game, which allowed us to explore different vocabularies, especially adjective forms. By using their senses to identify a toy by its size, shape, color and material.

The activity was broken down into different parts. They had the opportunity to create a “mystery box” for themselves decorating it in their own unique way. They picked three toys to use in their Mystery box game and practiced their new vocabulary in class and at home.
