U11A Boys' Hockey Festival at Maritzburg College - 9-11 August

Our U11A Boys’ Hockey team had a fantastic festival at Maritzburg College a few weekend ago. The level of hockey was high, which allowed for our boys to be pushed to a new level of play. Matches were 17min one-way, which meant scoring early was essential. This is the one area we will need to improve on, as even though we might not have scored early, in every game, the boys had to fight hard to come back when down, but sometimes just ran out of time!  

We were blown away by the boys’ improvement, the level of ball retention and their positional understanding have grown tremendously.
