A Courtroom Comedy to Remember: A JP Production - What's the Crime Mr Wolf?

Under the watchful eye of Lord Feathers of Eiderdown, Fabletown's Forest Court convened to bring charges against the notorious Mr. Wolf for his dastardly deeds. The courtroom buzzed with anticipation as prosecutors Mr. Hugh Mann and his assistant, Justin Case, called a colourful array of characters to testify—from the secretive Johnny Mole (secret agent) to the Three Little Pigs and Red Riding Hood. But were these well-known fairy-tale characters really as they seemed? And how could a non-vegetarian human accuse a wolf of being a meat eater?

In this hilarious courtroom comedy, the stage was brought to life with wacky, singing squirrels serving as clerks of the court, Sergeant Trunk, Constable Twig, and police dog Bark from Special Branch presenting evidence, protesters who were more interested in pizza deals than their cause, and secret agents who self-destructed at the drop of a hat. It was a storyline to be remembered, filled with humour and unexpected twists.

Concerts are a valuable part of our holistic approach to education at Clifton. The children learned many skills they would not ordinarily be exposed to on a normal academic day. These experiences are integral to developing confident, competent young girls and boys. There was much excitement among the teachers as they watched the Grade 1, 2, and 3 children step up and step out of their comfort zones. All eyes were on the stage, and our Clifton Champs did not disappoint!

This production showcased our children's incredible talent and creativity, leaving the audience and performers with memories to cherish for years to come.
