Grade 7 Brings ‘Holes’ to Life on Stage

The Grade 7 Clifton children delivered a captivating performance of Holes, an adaptation of their Grade 6 setwork book by Louis Sachar, in the school’s EAC theatre. The young actors brilliantly brought the characters from the pages alive in a vibrant and creative manner, transforming the story into a dynamic and engaging stage production.

The play was punctuated by song and dance, with Grade 7 musicians skilfully leading the melody, adding an extra layer of energy and emotion to the performance. The audience was transported to Camp Green Lake, where they witnessed the trials, friendships, and discoveries of Stanley Yelnats and his fellow campers.

The children’s commitment and enthusiasm were evident in every scene, as they expertly portrayed the humour, tension, and heart of Sachar’s story. Their portrayal stirred the imagination, sparked contemplation, and left a lasting impression on everyone who attended.

Congratulations to the Grade 7 cast and crew for a remarkable and memorable production that celebrated their talent, creativity, and hard work.
