Clifton Durban Music Visit - 1 August
We were honoured to have Clifton Durban come and visit us, sharing their musical talent with our Clifton Notties children and staff. To start the concert, one of our talented pupils, Masedi, performed a beautiful violin piece that captivated the audience and set the tone for the afternoon.
Following Masedi's performance, our SP choir sang a lovely song that created a perfect atmosphere and set the stage for Clifton Durban's performance. The choir’s harmonious voices resonated throughout the venue, preparing everyone for the musical journey ahead.
The Clifton Durban choir delighted us with a few beautiful songs, and we had the special privilege of learning one of their newly composed pieces for their centenary celebration. Singing along with them was a joyful experience, as everyone joined in to perform parts of the song together.
Following the choir's performance, their orchestra entertained us with two fun songs, showcasing their musical versatility and skill.
Afterwards, we moved outside to enjoy the beautiful day under the shade of the maple tree. There, their talented Marimba bands treated us to a mesmerising performance. The vibrant rhythms and melodies echoed through the air, leaving us all in awe of their talent and passion for music.
Clifton Durban were then treated to an afternoon in Top Woods and on our beautiful campus.
The visit from Clifton Durban was truly a memorable event filled with music, learning, and enjoyment for everyone involved.
