Community Service Opportunity
Mimbleball, Inc, a local Escondido Therapy Toy company (mimbleball.com), has a need for many hands to achieve some fun and not-challenging quality control for a large shipment of Mimbleballs that MUST be shipped soon!
Please share with both HS campuses if possible. Thank you!
Volunteer Opportunity:
WHO: Mimbleball, Inc.
WHAT: Quality control faux fur stuffed balls -- check for holes, comb out long faux fur, repack in boxes, help organize shipment
WHERE: Mimbleball HQ on the corner of Juniper and 2nd Ave (305 E. 2nd Ave) and Little Mo Storage -- both walkable from Classical. We will let you know where on which days.
WHEN: 9/10/24 - 10/8/24
HOW: Email Julia Chambers at julia@mimbleball.com with the subject VOLUNTEER with available dates and times after school (2-6pm) and weekends (8am -4pm).
We will be working every day to make this happen on time, and can handle as many people that would like to come help and earn some volunteer hours.
Please bring your volunteer hours log and we will sign it off.
We would prefer groups of young people ready to help, and require a good work ethic and super clean hands!
Bring water bottles and snacks/lunch on the weekend if you stay all day, and we will have snacks and adult supervision.
WHY: This shipment of Mimbleballs is headed to a not-for-profit in Illinois that helps children and adults learn to cope with grief and recover from substance abuse. Mimbleball is donating a portion of the Mimbleballs to the project.
