Track Update
Congratulations to all of the track and field participants on a great season this year! Below is a message from Mr. Norling on the sason and the state qualifiers.
“The middle school team had a great year with the boys going 5 - 2 and the girls having an undefeated season with a 7 - 0 record. There were many outstanding performances throughout the season. Chase Larimore set a new school record with a throw of 41'8 in the shot put. Taelor Nichols set a record with a time of 12.90 in the 100M and Maddie McInnis set a record in the 200M with a time of 27.00. The girls 4X100 team (Maddie McInnis, Maddie Plurad, Taelor Nichols, and Annabelle Davis) set a record of 54.76. Many athletes on both the boys and girls teams made the all-time top 20 lists. Overall, every athlete put forth a great effort this season making it very successful.” - Coach Norling
Great job to all of the state qualifiers - these are the ones that will be competing on Friday, June 10, but also nice job to the other runners that qualified but were unable to go due to Covid or injuries. Good luck at states!
