Food Drive and Treats for Troops

The JGMS is doing a school-wide food drive. There are more than 150 families in Bedford each week who are receiving food and household items from the Bedford Food Pantry. As we enter November, National Gratitude Month, the students of JGMS can show our appreciation for our good fortune by donating to those in need. You can donate, Food Items Peanut Butter Tuna Cereal Spaghetti Sauce Boxes of individual kids’ snacks Pediasure. Household Items You can donate are Paper towels Toilet paper Antibacterial wipes. You may donate any food item in a sealed box or can. Items must be individually wrapped and have a label. Please check that the food is not expired. You can bring your donations to your first-period class or advisory. There will be paper bags and that is where you can put the donations. Our goal is 400 items by Wednesday 11/24. If the JGMS community donates 400 items there will be a pajama day announced for everyone the week we return from Thanksgiving! 

There also will be something called Treats for Troops. You can bring leftover candy and put it in a basket in the office. The idea of this is for Troops in the sea to get a gift because they missed Halloween.
