Dual enrollment for CATE course is available for both TCL and USCB courses for the Spring. Additionally, students can qualify for early release/late arrival if students have completed a CATE pathway with a credential as that counts as College and Career Ready.
We are excited to share we had a successful first live Regionals with DECA! Students traveled to Columbia, SC to Saluda Shoals Center and competed with over 250 students. The students enjoyed networking with our May River friends on our bus and cheered each other on in competitions. Ten out of fourteen members qualified for States. Their scores are a combination of one hundred question test and a role play, in front of a judge, which is solving a scenario within their subject area.
States will take place February 25-27 in Charleston.
Those that did not qualify still have a chance to compete in the written and team events.
