Hilton Head Island High School Seahawk girls and boys lacrosse is doing well this season.
The girls lacrosse team played against James Island at the nest. They ended up winning the game with a score of 10-4. The lacrosse boys had played at several places. The boys had played at Bluffton, Beaufort, May River, Charleston, and sometimes at Hilton Head Island High School. They also had another game against May River. They played at May River and won with a score of 12-4. The last game they had this week was against Beaufort and played at nest.
They ended up making 14-1. Mr. Koestler said that
“Anna Ferrebee and Brooke Simons scored the most points.” Anna made 9 goals and Brooke made 6 goals. Thomas, a senior boys lacrosse the player said “ Kirkpatrick has the most goals so far with 24 goals.”
The boys lacrosse team had a game on March 29, 2021 they played against Bluffton with a score of 17-10. The girls lacrosse team will have a game next week. Mr. Koestler said “on Thursday April 1st at 5:30pm.” “On Senior Night we going against Richmond” Thomas stated, “ We play against Lucy Beckham High School next.” The Seahawks hope to win more games this season.

Jesus Mingorance is a captain of Hilton Head Island High School boys soccer team and leads their team to 6-1.
He has a lifetime of soccer, also it has help him going to Hilton Head Island High School “We are thankful to have sponsors that help us pay for tournaments and equipment."
The biggest challenge for the team is “we have to face is that we don’t have many physically tall players.”
The main goal for HHI boys soccer “is to win states, but to accomplish that, we need to win games, which is our big focus.” He as a player will help his team by being a “vocally strong player whenever it comes down to playing in games. I’m in charge of moving my teammates around and getting them ready for whatever comes at us.”
