Social Studies Exam Updates

In Social Studies we are busy working on preparing for End of Course Exams, IB Exams, AP Exams and MYP. MYP is the middle years project where students get to focus on areas that they are passionate about. Some of our students are looking at cooking from around the world.
The students are looking at how to prepare healthy meals from each continent for lunch and dinner. Another group is looking at the affects of social media and how to “turn” off screen time for a better nights sleep. Some of our students are even looking how to better themselves in their sports. We are always looking to better our school community through social studies.

Model United Nation - Quarter 2 Update

Model United Nations has been very busy this quarter. Students have been meeting between 1-4 times a week to prepare for competition season. This year, competition season lasts from January-March.
On January 22-24, 2021, twelve Model United Nations students from HHIHS competed at Gator MUN, a nationally ranked high school Model United Nations Conference.
