To support them and help prepare them for their exams, staff at Richmond Park Academy laid on additional revision classes, holidays sessions and after school intervention.

Principal, Nabila Jiwa said:

“We are incredibly proud of these results, which reflect the commitment and conscientiousness of our fantastic students who have worked tirelessly to ensure they progress to the next stage of their educational and vocational  journey. These results are a testament to all of the amazing work that the staff, students and community have put in. We wish all of our students the very best and look forward to continuing to ensure consistently high academic outcomes for all of the children in our care for many years to come.”

Michael Feely, Regional Education Director for secondary schools at AET said:

“We are all so incredibly proud of our sixth formers today; they have worked so hard and shown great resilience over the last few years. I am delighted that they have done so well. I know how much today means to the staff team too – they have been there every step of the way providing support and encouragement and I know they will be full of emotion at how well the students have done. Reyyan, Selina, Mateo, Omed and Ahmet have done particularly well, and I wish them the very best for their next exciting steps.”

Schools Minister, Nick Gibb said:

“Congratulations to all those receiving their results for their A Levels and GCSEs this summer. Students at Richmond Park Academy should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved and we are hugely grateful to teachers for all their hard work.

“For many pupils, these will have been the first formal set of exams they have ever taken and we have done everything that we can to ensure they are walking away with qualifications that hold value now and in the future.

“These results will enable pupils to take the next step in their lives, whether that’s in further education, an apprenticeship or the workplace and I wish them all the best whatever they decide to do.”
