What do you need to do between now and then to develop a strong SW portfolio?
What do you need to do between now and then to develop a strong SW portfolio?
Go to the artifacts site and access your copy of the document
Insert your images into the second column, ranking them based on their overall quality RIGHT NOW (even though you might plan to revise them/improve their quality)
Identify the CONCEPT behind the piece and materials/processes used to create it --- this does NOT need to be finalized 100 character statements -- yet!
However, if the piece is from your S.I. portfolio-- copy and paste those statements in!
Propose any revisions that you might like to make to improve the quality of the artwork. Write N/A if you think the artwork needs no significant improvement.

You'll have 4 class periods + spring break (April 7th, 9th, 11 & 23rd) to create any new pieces, revisions or re-dos. The goal is have a high quality set of 5 artworks for your Selected Works portfolio by April 25th.
Possible Added Bonus: If your S.W. pieces are also S.I. pieces then you can also include the revisions you make now in that portfolio and the enhanced version of the artwork could help you score more points for 2D/3D/Drawing skills.

Tip: Focus on the biggest "bang for your buck" in terms of creating a strong PORTFOLIO (eg, work on getting your #4 or 5 to be as good as your #1, rather than making your #1 piece even better)
