EQ: How to artists use material/process to further an idea

Learning target for today:

Guided by my inquiry, I can research, plan, experiment with materials, and/or practice techniques or processes as I develop a finished work of art.

I know I've got it when I have:

Worked towards developing my next Sustained Investigation piece. This may include some or all of the following
- Research
- Planning sketches
- Experimentation with different materials, compositions, etc.
- Practice with different techniques/processes/compositions,etc.
- Applying my research/planning/experimentation/practice to the piece

Today's Agenda

Prepare at least 2 artworks for display in the art show
Start working on your next Sustained Investigation piece guided by your question (or the newest version of your question)
USE TODAY FOR EXPERIMENTATION/PRACTICE WITH A MATERIAL/PROCESS

As AP Art students you are important representatives of our art program!

Come prepared to spend part of class mounting/labeling/otherwise professionally preparing TWO artworks (minimum) for display.

If your work is digital please SHARE the files with Ms. Lehrmann via Google Drive before coming to class

Independent Work Day!

Free Art & Cycle 6 will be due on January 14th.

If you came ready & excited to work on cycle 6 today, work on that. If you came scrambling to finish your Free Art, you are welcome to work on that.

Homework:

Pick out TWO completed artworks that you have created this semester and PHYSICALLY BRING THEM next class* (or share the digital files with Roemer for printing).
