(we recommend opening two Chrome windows or tabs to do this! Open your Artifacts page AND your Draft Portfolio page from the artifacts site in separate windows/tabs so you can easily copy and paste from one to the next)
Polishing checklist
STEP 1:
Make sure you have 15 pieces of visual images (whether they are stand alone images or artifacts collages).
Fill any gaps that you have with new artifacts collages or images from your Artifacts page.
STEP 2:
Double check all of your materials/process/idea/citation statements from previous cycles and/or WRITE new statements as needed.
We are checking your character count--USE A GOOGLE DOC TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE NO MORE THAN 100 CHARACTERS!
Don't forget to add SIZE dimensions for each piece.
If it's physical, list it in actual INCHES.
If it is digital, imagine how big you would want it to be printed, then list accordingly in INCHES)
STEP 3:
Check the order/flow of your images so make sure they show the evolution of your ideas/thinking (even if they're technically out of chronological order).
STEP 4:
Polish your S.I. statements.
Make sure the artifact numbers in your statement match the order of your images as they appear in your draft portfolio
We are checking your character count-- MAKE SURE THEY ARE NO MORE THAN 600 CHARACTERS EACH!
