EQ: How can feedback guide the artistic process?

Learning target for today:

I can use peer feedback to revise/refine my Cycle 1 piece OR I can plan a new artwork for Cycle 2 inspired by the feedback I received in the Cycle 1 Crit.

Warm-up:

What feedback did your peers have for your Cycle 1 piece, and what could you do today to incorporate that feedback into your piece?

Could you revise/refine your existing piece? Would it be beneficial to begin planning a new artwork instead of fixing your existing piece? Write down your plan and the feedback that inspired it in your journal.

Independent Work on Cycle 1

Today is an independent work day-- please work on revising/refining/ planning a new artwork based on the feedback you received Friday.

You are encouraged to rely on each other for support! You are STRONGLY encouraged to show each other what you've made during this time to get more informal feedback. If there are things you need to do OUTSIDE of class in order to be productive DURING class, DO THEM before you arrive here.

Homework:

Your homework is to add documentation of your warm-up from today AND any evidence of revision based on the feedback you received (updates to your current piece, sketches for new pieces/reworked pieces inspired by feedback, etc) to your Artifacts Page.

Next class we will begin planning for Cycle 2 (if you have not already begun!)
