AUTHORIZED USE OF SCHOOL-OWNED MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT
The School Committee wishes to be of assistance, whenever possible, to employees, town departments and community organizations. Therefore, permission to use school equipment/material may be granted by the supervisor upon request by responsible parties or organizations.
Staff members may use school equipment when the use is related to their school employment or is beneficial to their professional growth or physical well-being.
Students may use school equipment to enhance their studies, extra curricular activities or physica wellbeing. The department head or director will regulate materials supplied to students.
Proper controls will be established by the building Principal in conjunction with the Superintendent or director to assure the user’s responsibility for, and return of, all school equipment/material. All equipment/material loaned will be utilized in a legal and appropriate manner.
