Monoprinting is a form of printmaking that has images or lines that can only be made once, unlike most printmaking, where there are multiple originals. There are lots of materials and techniques we can try. The one we are going to start with is done with a Gelli plate we will make from scratch and acrylic paints. We will also use found objects and stamps to create textures. You are welcome to bring materials from home, you feel may add to your design. Monoprints can range from being realistic in nature to non-objective or abstract.
