Assignment:
Students will develop a 12 x 18 inch drawing on black or white paper using reflective and glass objects from a still life. A minimum of 7 objects of varying sizes, a mirror and 1 metal object required. Objects must overlap and have diagonals in the composition. You may want to lay some of the objects on their side to achieve this. Fabric, with folds, will be underneath the objects and objects should touch 3 or 4 sides of the drawing. Avoid border mergers, where the object edge touches the side of the paper. Make sure the objects on the edges of the drawing are obviously cropped or cut off in the image. See samples
