We will be working on learning how to draw a portrait using proper proportions and some nifty little rules of math to help us out. Last year, we learning how to use the Chuck Close Grid Method. This year we are going to learn how to draw using a mirror or model(if you can find one out of Study Hall) and drawing a portrait free hand. Scary! I know, but we all could use a little practice in this endeavor, myself included! Remember, this is about drawing what we see, not what we think we see.
Assignment:
Students will be drawing a self portrait using math and proportion to create the final sketch.
