Progress Review

In UVEI, a progress review is a meeting to discuss progress towards standards of competency. Progress reviews occur at least twice per year for those enrolled in programs (4 times in the teacher intern program and 3 times in the principal intern program). Progress reviews are preceded by the candidate doing some reflective thinking about their strengths, progress, and next steps in the area of each standard of competency.

In the intern programs, the progress review is a Triad meeting of the Intern, the Mentor, and the Faculty Coach, in which Intern work is reviewed.
