Licensure or Certification

Licensure or Certification is a license to teach granted to a graduate of an approved program (our Internship Programs, for example) by the New Hampshire State Department of Education upon the recommendation of UVEI Program Staff. We are permitted to make these recommendations because UVEI is approved by the State of New Hampshire and accredited by ACCET. This accreditation also permits Interns to qualify for federal loans.

An Endorsement is a qualification included as part of your teaching license. It allows you to be hired to teach a subject (middle/secondary) or grade range (elementary) in the public schools. It certifies that you have the necessary knowledge background and teaching skill.
