How to cite & reference materials from this site:

First, it is generally preferable to site original sources (articles, books, etc.) then it is to site a wiki. Because this is an open source wiki, and candidates are encouraged to add to entries, it is difficult to verify the veracity of specific claims in the wiki.

That said, there may be times when it makes sense to reference this site. When you do so, you have two options:

1) If a faculty member specifically referenced a page on the wiki in an organizer or seminar materials, you can cite it as a course handout:

Faculty member last name, First initial. (Year of seminar). Title of the page [Seminar Handout]. Upper Valley Educators Institute, Lebanon, NH

Example:

Tompkins, P. (2015). Feedback [Seminar Handout]. Upper Valley Educators Institute, Lebanon, NH

2) You can also reference it as a wiki entry:

Page title. (n.d.). In UVEI Wiki. Retrieved date, from url of specific page.

Example:

Feedback. (n.d.). In UVEI Wiki. Retrieved November 22, 2015, from https://sites.google.com/a/uvei.org/uvei-wiki/feedback

The former approach lends the reference a little more credibility than the latter (although neither are as effective as referencing an original article)
