8.1: Introduction to the Holocaust

Objective:

Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the gradual steps that led to the Holocaust by defining key vocabulary words and by writing descriptions of the process that led to the climax of the Holocaust.

Vocabulary: Holocaust, genocide, anti-Semitism, The Nuremberg Laws, Kristallnacht, ghetto, concentration camps, Final Solution, extermination, death marches, Liberation
