Quarter 3 Essay
Objective: Students will create a 5 paragraph argumentative essay on a topic covered during the second quarter of World History.
Listed below you will find possible topics for your quarter 3 essay. The goal is to write a paper based on the research questions listed below. Some research materials will be provided for you, but you are not limited to these resources. This project will appear in the gradebook as both a quarter 3 project grade.
The following outline the expectations for this project:

- Review this rubric that will be used to grade your project
- You will receive an additional 10 points (pass or fail) for completing the brainstorm / rough draft by the due date (to be discussed in class)

- Get a copy of the Argumentative Essay Brainstorm & Rough Draft. Use it to help you complete this assignment.
- You will need to have your paper proof-read by at least 2 people. Use this Essay Peer-Review worksheet to complete this portion of your assignment (it is worth a grade and will need to be turned in).
- The final draft of the essay is to be submitted on Google Classroom.
