ABOUT ME:

I feel fortunate to have found myself teaching at Arbor View High School. 2019-20 will be my second year teaching at Arbor. Prior to coming here, I spent three wonderful years teaching US History at John C Fremont Middle School.

I was born-and-raised in Los Angeles, but have been living in Las Vegas since 2008. I married my beautiful wife, Anca, in 2014, and we have a son named Elon.

Here is a bit more about me:

  • I received a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV)
  • I received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Anthropology with a minor in History from UNLV
  • I received an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Sociology from Barstow Community College
  • I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts (M.A.) in History, majoring in European History with a minor in American History. I should graduate in Fall of 2019.
  • I love to explore new foods, places, and cultures (the photo at the top of this page was taken in Pompeii, Italy)
  • I am passionate about the social studies - both past and present - and I love to learn from and share knowledge with others
