Do you know how hard it is to move to a new school? Well it’s even harder moving to a new school and to be “deformed.” The main character's name is August and is “deformed.” This book is called Wonder. And it is Realistic Fiction. In this story a kid named August is not exactly moving to a new school. He’s going to school for the first time! When he goes he tries to make friends. The theme is fitting in because the whole time everyone makes fun of him. Towards the middle he finds some true friends that truly care for him. I recommend this book because it’s very interesting and has good advice on fitting in. This book shows no matter how different you look there’s always hope to making friends. Also, since it’s a pretty challenging book and my favorite thing to do isn’t read and I had a never wanted to stop reading this book. I hope I inspired you to read this book.
