Have you ever meet someone who is different and judge for how they are. I think the author Jerry Spinelli wrote the fiction book to show how kids can get picked on because of the way they act. The main character of the story “ Loser “ is Zinkoff.

In the beginning the boy named Zinkoff was new to town.It was the first day of first grade for Zinkoff. He was treated different by other students; they thought of him as weird because of the way he acted. In second grade he got in trouble by the teacher for touching her eraser and she told him to leave the classroom and never to return. So he took it seriously and went home. In third grade he made a friend named Ben and he made airwax candles.In fifth grade Zinkoff had a field day and Hobin did not won’t Zinkoff on his team so he did not go to school.These are some of the things that happen to Zinkoff to find out more about Loser.

These are some reason I recommend this book because It’s funny. It teaches you a lesson. It is a good book to read; all of the Jerry Spinelli books are good. That is why I recommend this book Jerry Spinelli.
