The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate

In the book “The One and Only Ivan” by Katherine Applegate, Ivan was captured to be in a circus. He was sad and happy he was sad that they took him from his mom. Then he is happy that he can make new friends. The circus is in a mall. He see people coming in and out of the mall, but not seen them that's what made him mad. It is realistic because in the story Ivan was talking to an Elephant name John.

In the story “the one and only Ivan” Ivan and his mom got separated then mom died. Ivan was in a mall when he woke up. In the mall there was a lot of stores. There was a shoe store, a bookstore and a circus Ivan was in the circus. Ivan like the circus on the road driving past his house there was a circus truck. It was full of animals that he learn from school with his friend.

In conclusion I really like this book because the author Katherine Applegate put animals and sounds in It . I like the name John in it because it remind me of my dad John. In conclusion the book “the one and only Ivan” Is a great book for you.
