Have you ever wanted to read a book filled with excitement and adventure? Then this is a book for you. This book is By:Phyllis Naylor. It is a realistic book. The main characters are Judd Travers and Martie Preston.

A mean grouchy man named Judd Travers has a young beagle named Shiloh. Judd got Shiloh for hunting. When Shiloh ran away he came runny to a boy named Martie. Judd treats Shiloh really bad so Martie does not want to give Shiloh back. Will Martie get to keep Shiloh or will Judd Travers?

I recommend this book if you like dogs and excitement. If you want to find out what happens read the book to find out. This book is part of a series. There are two other books. I really enjoyed this book and I hope you do to!!!
