Do you like action, history, and lastly fiction? Then you should read the I Survived the Great Chicago Fire, 1871 by Lauren Tarshis. This is a historical fiction book and lastly it is part of a series.

Here is a short summary about the book. It’s about a kid called Oscar. When his dad dies, he lives with his mom alone. But then a neighbor comes and wants to marry his mom.The mom agrees and he takes her to Chicago.

Lastly, I recommend you read this book because it has a lot of action, history, and lastly fiction. Also, I recommend you read this book because it would make you feel that it is a true story. Finally, Lauren Tarshis likes to write about historical events. She has written many other I Survived books so you should check those out!
