Has your best friend ever told you that your dad is a god? Well that's what happened to Percy Jackson in Percy Jackson Lightning Thief. The lightning thief is a mythology and adventure based book. Rick Riordan is the great author of this awesome book.

Percy Jackson is a 7th grade student at Yancy academy. His dad left when he was a baby now he lives in a small apartment in NYC with his mom in Gabe. One day his best friend Grover came to his house and told Percy and his mom that they had to leave. Sally Percy's mom knew why but Percy did not. Percy was very confused. They arrived somewhere called Camp Half Blood, a safe place for kids with one mortal parents and one parent that is a god. He met some of his best friends at camp half blood. Percy is getting blamed for stealing Zeus's lightning bolt. Will Percy be accused for taking the lightning bolt or will he find out who the real thief is? Read to find out.

Percy Jackson is a awesome adventure book that comes with obstacles to overcome and some funny moments to. Percy Jackson is a strong noble brave person/character. If you like mythology, fighting crime and going on cool adventures, I think Percy Jackson and the lightning thief is the right book for you.
