Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K Rowling had me hooked. When reading this book, I entered Harry’s world. In Harry’s world there are wands, Pictures that can move and Talk to you, ghosts and above all, a giant castle.

The book is about a boy named Harry who had his parents killed by a dark wizard. The dark wizard tried to kill harry but failed and the wizard was destroyed. The only thing left of that was a scar shaped like a Bolt. Harry was then raised by his Aunt and Uncle who were absolutely horrible to him. Then on his 11th birthday, a giant named Hagrid comes into his house and tells him he is a wizard. Hagrid then invites Harry to a school for Witches and Wizards called Hogwarts. At Hogwarts Harry meets great friends, Becomes a Quidditch star. But danger comes to Hogwarts and the most in danger is Harry Potter.

I recommend this book because it is one of my favorites. J.K Rowling has written seven books in this series and is currently working on the eighth book. So if you like magic, than Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone is the right book for you.
