The Giver by Lois Lowry

In my opinion “The Giver” was a great book. “The Giver” was written by Lois Lowry. The genre is sci-fi.

A quick summary is that Jonas

Lives in a society where everything is regulated.

The number of children, jobs, and many others.

Every kid, when he/she gets older, get a job. The job could be anything. The thing is, the people don't choose their jobs. Someone else chooses it for them.

Overall, I liked “The Giver”. I think the message in the Giver was that no society can be made or created without a little evil or corruption. I like how she made an interesting book while conveying a message. I may be wrong on the message part but, still, it’s my opinion. So, overall, I liked “The Giver”.
