Have you ever “TOOK?”  Did you ever feel scared because you have to move from having a perfect life to being poor and living in  an abandoned house? Well that is how Daniel and Erica felt. “TOOK”  is a horror story so if you like to get creeped out come check this book out!

Daniel and Erica transferred their lives from being rich, going to private schools, getting everything they wanted, and being popular to being poor, going to the worst possible school ever, getting nothing they want, and being the weirdos from the outside. They moved to Selene Estates. A little girl about Erica’s age lived in that same house and went missing 50 years ago. Now 50 years later strange things start to happen to Erica. Her brother is getting suspicious. What’s going on? Is Erica “TOOK”?

Have you ever had a teacher that you loved so much, you would do anything to save their job? Well this book is DEFINITELY for you! Saving Mr. Terupt is a hilarious comedy, yet life learning lesson book. This book is the third book in a series of Mr. Terupt books, so it might make sense to start with the other two first. Who wants to know more about saving Mr. Terupt?!

First, I think you should know who the characters are! So, there is Peter, the jokester. Jessica, who loves to read and write. Alexia, who is sassy, pretty, and fierce. Anna, who is quiet, yet intelligent. Danielle, who is fat, and mischievous. Jeffery, who is caring and strong. Lastly Luke, who is smart, and clever. In this book, the 7 kids start their 1st year in 7th grade without their favorite teacher Mr. Terupt. Two of them Alexia, and Peter, run for president, but they both want Luke to have the job, because he basically did all of the work for them. When Luke is in class one day, he discovers that Mr. Terupt’s job is in danger. They put up posters everywhere, and when the results came in for the vote, they were very surprised. At the end of their 7th grade school year they get a big surprise that involves their 8th grade year. Can you guess what?

I think you should get this book because it is super funny and very intense, that it will get you to want to read more! Rob Buyea also writes other books too, that are probably really interesting! Once you read the first 3 books, you will really want Rob Buyea to write a fourth one! Why are you still reading this? Go look for the book SAVING MR. TERUPT!!

What if you were stuck in a gigantic labyrinth with your friends? And you finding a way out depended on mankind. This fantasy book about a demigod and a maze is called, The Battle Labyrinth, by Rick Riordan. What could he possibly think of next?

The Battle of the Labyrinth is about a half-blood named Percy Jackson and his friends Annabeth, Grover, and his half-brother Tyson. They must go into the old Labyrinth made by Daedalus as a quest. They’ve found a way to get into camp using it, so Percy must find a way to navigate the it before his rival Luke is able to. And the would bad.

Also, Percy’s friend Grover is on a mission to find Pan. He has two weeks to find him or else the council of cloven elders will take away his searcher’s license. Annabeth (also Percy’s friend) has been chosen for this quest, but she gets jealous when percy manages it and brings along his friend Rachel Elizabeth Dare. She is mortal, but percy is sure that she can help then on their quest.

I recommended this book because I think that it's a good book to read to someone. This book is a series so I would suggest to read the first book The Lightning Thief. The author Rick Riordan has many other books and series about Percy so make sure to check those out to.

Hatchet by Gary Paulsen

Imagine yourself on a bush plane with only a pilot and yourself. Then suddenly the pilot has a heart attack and dies, everything changes in just a few seconds, first a pilot flying a plane, then suddenly the pilot has a heart attack and can’t fly the plane. What would you do, when all there is, is a forest of trees below and no sight of clear land. The book “Hatchet,” by Gary Paulsen takes you into a world of survival. “Hatchet” is a book to be hooked on. If you are someone who is good at survival, this is the book for you. You get to see how the main character survives in the forest or wilderness, without knowing how. But then again practice makes progress.

Brian, the main character faces many challenges in the wild, but he has one thing that may help him in the wilderness, determination. He works hard for things in the wild, he tries new strategies when others don’t work. Even people who know how to survive in the wilderness could learn a thing or two from Brian.

Will Brian survive? Read the book to find out.I recommend this book completely, even if you do not know anything about surviving in the wild, this can still be the perfect book for you. On top of all of that the author of “Hatchet”, Gary Paulsen won a Newbery Award for his book. I think that Hatchet”is a great book, by a great author. The only way for you to figure out if “Hatchet is a good book, is to read it.
