Assessing Criteria D
NBPS Student Criteria D
NBPS Student Criteria D
Achieved Level 3 because the student:
- (strand i) low: State a testing strategy to measure the success of the prototype
- (strand ii) low: evaluates the success of the prototype against few aspects of the design specification with no evidence of testing
- (strand iii) low: lists how the prototype could be improved
The student would have achieved a higher level if they had:
- (strand i): More clearly been able to measure success of prototype and justify why the tests were successes
- (strand ii): Added images that proving the tests were conducted
- (strand iii): More and better list of improvements that include quotes
The NBPS example is better than the IBO sampler because:
- The IBO sampler didn't really talk about any kind of testing at all very much
- The NBPS example was very lacking but it at least knew it was about testing
- The IBO sampler made new discoveries that should have been realized in earlier criteria
