Week Five Update

While trying to put together some wheels I noticed that the laser tends to cut off more than needed. To fix this issue I printed off two squares of cardboard (one of width and one with height) to find the perfect size to fit the connectors into them. While building my first prototype I noticed that the friction between the axle and the car was too great for the car to move. To fix this I made the hole large; not only that but, I changed the hole design on the wheels from round to hexagonal to just make them grip better. I then fixed the size of the holes on the car and made them larger. After having built the second prototype, I tested it, and it didn't move very much at all. The wheels did spin, but they just didn't make the car move.
