"Samson you are one of those people who could never be forgotten. I have left Ft. Drum and there isn't a day that I don't think of you. You are the true meaning of a Hero. My deepest prayers go out to your Sister, I don't think there was one single day that you didn't talk about her. May God keep you safe as your journey continues." ~  Teresa Strunk, Fort Campbell, Kentucky

"Samson, I am still shocked that you are not around as I knew you. You touched my life at Fort Drum and Iraq. You always had a smile on your face and greeted me with the utmost respect. We all miss you (the Original A Co 277, Orderly Room gang: Woods, Coggins, me--SGT Martin). Being your supervisor at Drum is a memory I will never forget. You were an outstanding soldier with so much dedication to your job. You always strived to do more than your job. You were always dependable. I am happy to remember the time you came to my home and shoveled snow as my husband was away and I had to make you take that $20. You finally gave in and took the money after I threatened you! (probably because I became annoying) LOL! My sympathy goes out to the Samson Family and Friends. Especially to his Sister whom he cherished so much! SGT Regina Martin" ~  SGT Regina Martin, Fort Drum, New York

"I remember Marko teaching Judy and I Tae Kwon Do moves in the basement, watching movies with us and goofing off. Marko was such a kind, courageous and strong Man. I had no idea he became a soilder-it's been so long. I always imagine time freezes and things stay the way they always were. I know your lives are forever changed, and I imagine there isn't a moment that goes by that isn't somehow filled up with Marko. I don't even know how to completely express to you how deeply sorry I am for your loss. My heart, thoughts and prayers go to Marko and your family. Much love to you all." ~  Grace Connolly
