…Cassondra Dick of New Philadelphia, a sophomore Army ROTC member at Ohio University. She graduated from Tuscarawas Central Catholic High with Clore’s younger brother, George, in 2009. “They live just up the street from us, and our families are close,” Dick said. “He was at our house every Christmas and Easter.” She said the funniest memory of Peter was dancing and playing Kinect on her family’s Xbox this past Christmas. “We called him Frodo,” she said of the heroic character from “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy. “It’s because he was really short. But, he embraced it. We used to tell him how pretty his eyes were — he had really pretty blue eyes.” Her own eyes moist, Dick said softly, “I just miss him. He was like a big brother.”

Clore’s next-door neighbor, Stephanie Reitmann of New Philadelphia, recalled that he frequently came over and helped out around the property. “He was always laughing and smiling,” she said. “He would come over and he always liked to drink pop. He would get a Pepsi out of the refrigerator in the barn. ”She fondly recalled how proud Clore was when he would earn one of his many badges or awards as a Boy Scout, helping in the community. “He was a good kid, one who really helped the community,” she said. “It’s really a shame that he’s gone.
