"I don't know if Mike's parents will never read this, but if you do; I want to say that I am one of the proud and fortunate people to have known your son. Mike went above and beyond almost all others to join the military and serve his country. You are very fortunate to have had a son with the good moral character, care for others and dedication to his beliefs.

Mike was always striving to be the best at what he did, and constantly had a winning attitude. And today as I think of Veteran's Day, this will be special to me as I finally built up the courage to post on this page. This day in my eyes will always be dedicated to you Mike. And as you are enjoying the beauties of heaven, please look down from time to time and keep us safe."  ~  JJ Nahoun, Deland, Florida

"Mikey, Although it was a long time ago that you moved away and our families didn't keep in touch, I have very fond memories of our time as children. Kevin and I had a great time pushing you in the laundry hamper on the skateboard and getting you to eat dog food. I pray for your memory and honor you for your service to our country."  Meagan Wilson (Pulley) of Rohnert Park, CA USA

"Mike, my soccer and Kentucky Derby-loving Mike....I miss you like no other. I think about you often and will one day have our house on the beach. You lived and died for everything you believed in.....for that I am speechless. I love you and miss you. I will remember you always."  Audra of Columbus, Ga
