…Army Pvt. Adam "A.J." Johnson, 22, of Clayton, Ohio, had been in Iraq for about five weeks, his family said.

The soldiers were on patrol near Mahmdiyah, south of Baghdad, when the explosion happened Monday, Fort Campbell spokeswoman Kelly Tyler said in a statement.

A.J. was a 2001 Graduate of Northmont High School. While at Northmont, A.J. earned Goalie of the Year and overall Player of the Year awards for the Greater Miami Valley Conference with the Varsity Soccer Team. Following graduation, A.J. volunteered as an assistant coach with the Northmont Soccer Program, and helped countless students become better athletes and people. He was an outgoing person whose attitude, smile and love for others will be deeply missed….

Carver:  Keith Radick is semi-retired from the Floyd Brown Group (co-owner). After his semi-retirement Keith drifted back into his art that includes wood carving. Keith is widowed and has a daughter who lives in Chicago.
