"I have so much sympathy for Steven Daniel Conover's family for their loss. He was also a loss to me as well. You have raised a very nice young man. You see Steven was a very good friend of mine and i miss him dearly. he knew how to make people laugh, that was one thing he knew how to do was make everyone’s day brighter. I have memories from when he would go bowling with me and my boyfriend Steven Wayne Nail who was his best friend. They were inseparable. I even remember the day before he left Fort Sill he had shown me the gear he was going to wear at war. He also promised another game of bowling to give me another chance to beat him. But i never got that chance. He was a good friend to my family. He even had a baby boy with my sister on December 9, 2003 who also in which he passed away on the 11th of December year of 2003. A little over a month Steven passed. It was a very hard thing to loose him and my nephew so close together. But I know that my nephew is up in Heaven with his daddy. He had Steven's bright blue eyes and all of his features. I miss them both so much. This November 2nd would be his 4th year anniversary that he passed away. And December 11th would be my nephews (his sons)Steven Daniel Conover 2nd (just like his dad) 4th year as well to have gone to be with his dad. I love you my dear friend and could never forget all the memories we have shared. You will forever be in my heart. Please take good care of my Mijo. I also love you too Mijo so much it hurts that we didn't have much time together, but I also know that GOD had chosen you for a reason and maybe that reason was for you to be with your great HERO DAD. Love You Guys." ~  Stephanie Calvillo, Vernon, Texas
