Condolences from Legacy.com

"My heart is breaking at the loss of Bryan. we were deployed to Afghanistan, roommates at Ft. Bragg and friends. he signed my marriage license. we spent hours talking about Kylie and Devon, the Cleveland Browns, getting some "scrimp" and putting a line in the water. "Dill" had integrity and a passion for life. i will love him always." ~  Jennifer Byer, Fountain, Colorado

"There are no words to express the loss felt by this tragedy. Bryan was a good soldier and a great friend. There are so many wonderful memories that I have of him. The favorites are the time we spent at Shkin during OEF where I was his immediate supervisor but he was too protective of me like a little sister because I was the only female at the FOB and the every night dinner movie was always The Wedding Singer to drive CPT Bowen out of his mind. The other is the after party at Ryan's upon our return when he kept dunking me in the hot tub. We had some wonderful times and it was a pleasure and an honor to be a part of his life. My heart goes out to his daughters, who meant more to him than anything else in this world. SSG Miranda Brinson" ~  Miranda Brinson, Abilene, Texas

"Linda, I am so sorry to hear of Bryan's news. Please except my deepest sympathy. Although I never met Bryan I always saw him working out in the yard cutting grass. I would say to myself, " gee, he sure is a hard working boy!" He was brave for serving his country and he will be greatly missed. Thanks for being a friend. God bless you and your family, Kim" ~  Kim Dunn, Stow, Ohio

"Told a story today to a fellow soldier and as I told the story all of the lessons you taught me about how to be a medic and a soldier came flooding back. Miss you. I'll never forget your passion about your job and your ability to be a leader." ~  Kolby Hallmark
