Daniel S Braun., beloved husband of Charlene Braun , cherished son of Gerald and Linda Braun, loving brother of Nicholas Braun (Kristen) and Taressa Ingle (Curry), devoted uncle to Jarrett Ingle and Emily Braun, loving grandson of the late John "Bill" and Mary Braun and Bill and Ruth Branam. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Daniel, a resident of Eagle River, Alaska and formerly of Withamsville, passed away May 15, 2013 at the age of 27. He was a 9 year member of the U.S. Air Force Security Forces serving 1 tour in Korea and 2 tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom…

I would like to thank everyone that is saying prayers for my family. It is a comfort to know that he touched so many lives. That's the kind of person he was, kind, caring, funny,  giving, loving and very smart and I mean smart. He is the only person I know that could come from South Korea to Cincinnati with nothing but his dog tags. He would have given his shirt off his back if you needed it. I would like to ask a favor from one parent to another, give your child, your spouse, your parent a hug and hold them tight and tell them you love them because life is too short and you never know what can happen. Danny would have turned 28 this Monday the 20th of May. he will be spending his birthday in heaven with family whom is there to greet him with open arms. PTSD took Danny's life and I'll never be able to hold my little boy again. PTSD is what is happening to allot of our military men and women returning from war. These men and women are serving our country like Danny was fighting for our freedom and seeing things we can't even begin to imagine. To Danny he was just doing his job. I am so proud to be his mom.

Carver:  Graham Webb has been carving since 2010; retired from the Army and from Franklin County 

Wood:  The larger feather is Sassafras and the feather in the bowl of the Sassafras feather (smaller) is probably Maple that came from a fallen branch near where Daniel rests. The two feathers are joined by a crystal shard.
