Managing Duplicate Records
Every time a subject’s record is saved to the Lifetouch Portal, a check is made to see if the student ID, or the student’s name and grade, already exist in the Portal’s database. If a duplicate is found, you are prompted with the following message:
You have three options on how to respond:
You can click CANCEL and return to the previous screen (Add or Edit Record) and continue editing.
Select a record from the list on the left and continue editing that record.
Click CONTINUE or CONTINUE ADDING NEW RECORD to save the record you created or edited.
