Subject Photos
Photos can be uploaded when you do one of the following:
Add a new subject
Edit a subject
Create a replacement ID
Subjects may have more than one photo available. You have the ability to specify which image should be the primary image, by clicking on a different image presented in Select new photo, from within Add Record or Edit Record.
Note: In previous releases of the portal, only the most recent image for a subject was displayed. In other words, if the subject had an Original Picture Day image and a Retake Day image, only the Retake Day image would show on the Lifetouch Portal. The Portal will now show both images but default to the most recent image as the primary image.
Make sure to click SAVE when you are done editing the subject record to save your changes.
Upload a Photo
When you are working with a subject record or creating a replacement ID, click UPLOAD to add a photo to a subject record. In this example, we are uploading the photo while in Create ID Card.
A window displays, allowing you to select a photo of the subject from your computer.
Click SELECT NEW PHOTO to begin the photo upload process.
Select the photo of the student from your computer and click Open.
The subject’s photo appears in the photo box section on the left side of Upload and Position Photo.
You can then position and resize the photo as desired using the slider bar and dragging the face inside the circle for best results.
Click USE THIS PICTURE to use the photo with the ID card or subject record.
Click SELECT NEW PHOTO to choose a different photo to use from their computer.
Note: Images must be either PNG or JPEG format. They must be of a minimum size of 240x320.
